How to Pay Your Electricity Bill with JazzCash or Easypaisa
Paying your electricity bill through JazzCash or Easypaisa takes about two minutes, works for all DISCOs, and means you never have to queue at a bank or utility counter. Here is exactly how to do it on both apps.
What You Need
- Your 14-digit electricity reference number (from your bill)
- JazzCash or Easypaisa app installed on your phone
- Sufficient balance in your wallet or linked bank account
- A working internet connection
Pay via JazzCash — Step by Step

Open the JazzCash app and log in
Use your JazzCash registered mobile number and your 4-digit MPIN to log in.

Tap 'Pay Bills'
On the home screen, find the 'Pay Bills' section. It is usually near the top or accessible from the main menu.

Select 'Electricity'
A list of utility categories appears. Tap 'Electricity'. You will then see a list of all major DISCOs and K-Electric.

Choose your DISCO
Select your electricity company from the list (LESCO, MEPCO, FESCO, IESCO, GEPCO, PESCO, HESCO, SEPCO, QESCO, TESCO, HAZECO, or K-Electric).

Enter your reference number
Type your 14-digit reference number exactly. The app may auto-fetch your name and bill amount once you tap 'Proceed'.

Confirm the amount and pay
Review the bill amount, confirm your MPIN, and the payment goes through. You will get an SMS confirmation. Keep this for your records.
Tip: Take a screenshot of the payment confirmation screen in case the SMS is delayed.
Pay via Easypaisa — Step by Step

Open Easypaisa and log in
Enter your Telenor or registered number and your 4-digit PIN to log in to the app.

Tap 'Pay Bills'
On the Easypaisa home screen, look for 'Pay Bills' or 'Utility Bills' in the menu.

Select 'Electricity'
From the utility categories, choose 'Electricity'. A list of electricity providers appears.

Select your DISCO
Pick your electricity company. Easypaisa supports all major DISCOs and K-Electric.

Enter your consumer or reference number
Type the number from your bill. Easypaisa may show your name and amount automatically once you enter the number.

Complete the payment
Check the amount, enter your PIN, and confirm. A payment receipt appears in the app. An SMS confirmation is also sent to your number.
Tip: Easypaisa also allows bill payment at any Easypaisa agent shop if you prefer not to use the app.
How Long Until Your Payment Shows on Your Bill Account
Usually within 24 to 48 hours
Most payments reflect on your DISCO account within one to two working days. On weekends and public holidays it can take an extra day.
If you are close to the due date
Pay at least 2 days before the due date. Paying on the exact due date via app still counts as on time, but the DISCO record may not update before a late-payment notice is generated.
If the payment doesn't reflect after 3 days
Call your DISCO helpline (118 or the DISCO-specific number) with your JazzCash or Easypaisa transaction ID. They can manually verify and update your record.
Watch Out for Incorrect Reference Numbers
If you enter a wrong reference number and make a payment, the money goes to that account. Recovering it requires contacting your DISCO with your transaction ID and CNIC. The process can take several weeks. Double-check the reference number before confirming any payment.

What is the maximum bill amount I can pay via mobile wallet?
Transaction limits depend on your wallet tier. A basic JazzCash or Easypaisa account typically allows single transactions up to Rs 50,000. If your bill is higher, you may need to upgrade your wallet or pay at a bank.
Can I pay part of my electricity bill through JazzCash?

Can I pay a DISCO bill from a different network's app?
Yes. Easypaisa is Telenor's service but anyone can download the app and register. You do not need a Telenor SIM to use Easypaisa. The same applies to JazzCash.
