How to Pay Your SNGPL Gas Bill Online in Pakistan
Paying your SNGPL gas bill online takes about two minutes once you know which method to use. Unlike electricity bills, SNGPL payments are not available through every channel — here is what actually works in 2026 and the fastest route for each situation.
What You Need Before You Start
You need your 10-digit SNGPL consumer number printed on your gas bill. If you have lost your bill, call SNGPL on 1199 (toll-free from any network) or check your bill online first at /sngpl-bill-check. Also confirm the amount due — gas bills have separate amounts for current charges and any arrears from previous months.
Make sure you are paying to SNGPL specifically. If you are in Karachi, Hyderabad, or Sindh, your gas comes from SSGC (Sui Southern Gas Company), not SNGPL. SNGPL covers Punjab and KPK.
Method 1: Pay via JazzCash

Open the JazzCash app and log in
If you do not have the app, download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and register with your mobile number. A JazzCash account is free and does not require a Jazz SIM.

Tap 'Bill Payments' then select 'Gas'
In the main menu, find 'Bill Payments' or 'Pay Bills'. Under the utility type, select 'Gas'.

Select SNGPL from the company list
Choose SNGPL (Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited) from the list of gas companies.

Enter your 10-digit consumer number
Type your consumer number exactly. JazzCash will auto-fetch your current bill amount from the SNGPL system.
Tip: Double-check the consumer number before proceeding — payments sent to a wrong number are difficult to recover.

Confirm the amount and pay
Verify the consumer name and bill amount shown. Confirm and enter your JazzCash MPIN to complete the payment. A confirmation SMS is sent immediately.

Save the transaction ID
Your payment confirmation shows a transaction ID (TID). Save it as a screenshot. If the payment does not reflect on your SNGPL account within 2 days, call 1199 with this TID.
Method 2: Pay via Easypaisa

Open the Easypaisa app or dial *786#
Easypaisa works both through the smartphone app and via USSD (*786#) on any mobile phone without internet. The USSD route is useful when your internet is down.

Select 'Bill Payments' then 'Gas Bill'
In the app, go to Bill Payments and select Gas. On USSD, follow the menu to utility bill payments.

Choose SNGPL and enter your consumer number
Select SNGPL from the gas company list and enter your 10-digit consumer number.

Verify and confirm payment
The system displays your name and outstanding amount. Confirm and enter your Easypaisa PIN to complete. A confirmation SMS arrives within seconds.
Method 3: Pay via Internet Banking or Mobile Banking App

Log in to your bank's mobile app
Most major Pakistani banks (HBL, UBL, MCB, Meezan, Allied, Bank Alfalah, Standard Chartered, and others) support SNGPL gas bill payment through their apps or internet banking portals.

Look for 'Bill Payment', 'Utility Bills', or 'Pay Bills' in your app's main navigation.

Follow the same steps as JazzCash or Easypaisa. The bank app fetches your current bill amount automatically.

Most bank apps let you save your SNGPL account as a regular payee. Next month, you can pay in two taps without re-entering your consumer number.
Tip: Bank payments often have higher transaction limits than mobile wallets — useful if your bill is very large.
Other Ways to Pay Your SNGPL Bill
Pay at a bank branch
Visit any major bank branch with a printed or digital copy of your bill. Counter payments are posted to your SNGPL account within 1 to 2 working days.
Pay at a JazzCash or Easypaisa agent
If you prefer cash, any JazzCash or Easypaisa retailer (mobile top-up shops, kiryana stores) can collect your gas bill payment. Give them your consumer number and cash — they process it on the spot.
Pay at an SNGPL office
SNGPL has payment counters at their offices. Bring your physical bill. Not the fastest method, but useful if you need a physical receipt or have a billing dispute to discuss at the same time.
When Does the Payment Reflect on Your SNGPL Account?
Payments made through JazzCash and Easypaisa typically reflect on your SNGPL account within 24 to 48 hours. Bank payments can take up to 2 working days. If you pay close to the due date, always pay at least 2 days early to ensure it posts before the deadline. If your payment has not reflected after 3 days, call SNGPL on 1199 with your transaction ID.
