This page lets you check that same IESCO bill online, understand each charge on it, and reach the right helpline if something looks wrong.

How to Check Your IESCO Bill Online
Checking an IESCO bill takes three steps and needs only the number from a past bill, not your name or address.
- 1
Find your reference number

- 3
View and download
See the payable amount, the due date, and the units used, then download the duplicate bill to pay at a bank, an ATM, or a mobile wallet.

IESCO Duplicate Bill Download
If your printed IESCO bill was lost or never arrived, you do not need to visit a Customer Facilitation Centre for a copy. Check your bill with the reference number above, then use the download or print option to save a duplicate IESCO bill as a PDF, the same kind of copy IESCO's own Get Duplicate Bill service provides.
The duplicate carries the same reference number, amount, and due date as the original, so it is accepted for payment at any bank branch, a 1Link ATM, a post office, or through JazzCash and Easypaisa. Keeping a downloaded copy also makes it easier to track your monthly units over time.

Understanding Your IESCO Bill
An IESCO electricity bill is made of several line items. Knowing each one helps you spot an error and reduce the total over time.
How an IESCO bill is laid out
- Units consumed
- kWh
- Energy charge
- Units x slab rate
- Fuel Price Adjustment
- Per unit
- Taxes and TV fee
- GST plus fees
- Total payable
- Rs ------
Example layout only. Your bill shows the real figures.
- Energy and slab rate
- Your units multiplied by the slab rate. Rates rise with usage, and crossing a slab threshold lifts the rate on the whole month.
- Fuel Price Adjustment
- A monthly per unit surcharge set by NEPRA that reflects fuel costs, which is why the same usage can cost more in one month than another.
- Taxes and fees
- General Sales Tax, a TV licence fee, meter rent, and electricity duty are added to the energy charge.
- Late payment surcharge
- Paying after the due date adds a surcharge on the outstanding amount, so a timely check helps you avoid it.
For the full slab table and tax breakdown, read the tariff and slab rates guide.

IESCO Peak Hours and Off-Peak Timings
Peak hours apply only to Time of Use meters. During the peak window each unit is billed at a higher rate than off-peak, so shifting heavy use helps.
The evening high demand window, broadly around 6 PM to 10 PM. The exact start and end shift with the season, so check the current schedule on your bill or the official site.
The rest of the day, when units are charged at the lower off-peak rate. Running air conditioners, geysers, and washing machines in this window reduces the peak portion of your bill.
IESCO Bill Estimate
Want an estimate before the official bill arrives? Enter your monthly units and tariff category in the bill calculator to get an approximate figure in rupees. The official IESCO bill, read from the reference number above, remains the final amount.

IESCO Bill FAQs
How do I check my IESCO bill online?
Enter your 14 digit IESCO reference number in the checker above and open your bill. It shows the current payable amount, the due date, and the units consumed, read from the official IESCO bill source. There is no account or password needed.
Can I check my IESCO bill by name instead of a reference number?
No. The official system looks up a bill by your reference or consumer number, not by name, since names are not unique. If you do not have a past bill to read the number from, contact your IESCO Customer Facilitation Centre with your account details to retrieve it.
How can I get an IESCO duplicate bill or download it?
Check your bill with your reference number, then use the download or print option to save a duplicate IESCO bill as a PDF. The duplicate carries the same reference data as the original and is accepted at banks, ATMs, and mobile wallets.
What is the IESCO helpline number for complaints?
You can call 118 or send an SMS to 8118 for power breakdown and billing complaints, the same numbers IESCO lists on its own website. Online complaints go through the Customer Complaint Management System at ccms.pitc.com.pk, and an unresolved dispute can be escalated to PMDU and then NEPRA.
Where is the IESCO head office?
The IESCO head office is at Street 40, Sector G7/4, Islamabad. For most tasks such as a bill check, duplicate bill, or complaint, you do not need to visit in person, since these are available online or through the helpline.
How do I apply for a new IESCO connection?
IESCO has moved from the older ENC system to e-OPS. New domestic and commercial connections are applied for through the Power Smart or IESCO Smart mobile app, or at a Customer Facilitation Centre, rather than the standalone ENC portal used by some other DISCOs.
What are IESCO peak hours?
Peak hours apply to Time of Use meters and fall in the evening high demand window, broadly around 6 PM to 10 PM, and the exact timing shifts with the season. Running heavy appliances outside peak hours reduces the peak rate portion of your bill.
How is my IESCO electricity bill calculated?
The base charge is your units multiplied by the applicable slab rate. On top of that the bill adds the Fuel Price Adjustment, General Sales Tax, a TV licence fee, meter rent, and electricity duty. Crossing a slab threshold raises the rate on the whole month.
Which areas does IESCO serve?
IESCO, the Islamabad Electric Supply Company, serves Islamabad and the surrounding districts of Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal.
Is this the official IESCO website?
No. This is an independent consumer platform, not run by IESCO, WAPDA, or PITC. Bills are read from the official IESCO bill source. The official IESCO website is iesco.com.pk, and the official bill portal is bill.pitc.com.pk/iescobill.
