Landline and broadband, one bill
PTCL, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, is the country's largest fixed-line operator, billing landline, DSL, and fibre broadband on one combined account. Unlike a DISCO or gas company, PTCL's bill lookup is not a single number; it needs your phone number and your 10-digit Account ID together, both printed on your last bill. How to Check Your PTCL Bill Online
Checking a PTCL bill needs two things from a past bill: your phone number and your Account ID.

Find your phone number and Account ID
Your PTCL phone number is printed on the bill without its area code (Lahore and Karachi numbers need a leading 3 added, for example 3xxxxxxx). The Account ID is a separate 10-digit number on the front of the same bill.

Can I Check My PTCL Bill Without an Account ID?
Not to view or download the bill itself. PTCL's official duplicate bill portal requires your phone number and your Account ID together; there is no lookup by phone number alone, and bills cannot be searched by name. If you cannot find your Account ID on a physical bill, WhatsApp 1218 (0331-2181218) and PTCL's support team can look it up for your number, or call 1218 directly.
Paying without viewing the bill first
If you already know the amount and just want to pay, PTCL's quick bill payment tool on ptcl.com.pk accepts your phone number directly and sends a one-time code to confirm the payment, without needing the Account ID. This pays the bill; it does not show or let you download the bill itself.

Duplicate PTCL Bill
PTCL's own bill portal, run at dbill.ptcl.net.pk, is a self-service page: enter your phone number and Account ID and it shows your current bill directly, without needing to visit a PTCL office.
This is the same portal this checker sends you to. Once there, download the bill as a PDF, or print it to take to a bank counter. You will need Acrobat Reader installed to open and print it, which PTCL's page links to if you do not have it.

Understanding Your PTCL Bill
A PTCL bill combines a few recurring charges with tax, so the total is more than just your package price.
- Package rental
- The recurring monthly charge for your landline, DSL, or fibre plan, billed in advance. This is the largest line on most bills.
- General Sales Tax (GST)
- Government sales tax on telecom services, added on top of the package rental and any other charges.
- Withholding (advance) tax
- Advance income tax PTCL deducts on your bill under FBR rules. This is the amount your PTCL tax certificate documents, so you can adjust it against your annual tax return.
- One-time and instalment charges
- Installation fees, or a router or device being paid off in instalments, appear only on the bills where they apply.
- Arrears and late payment surcharge
- Any unpaid amount carried from a previous bill, plus a surcharge if a past due date was missed.

PTCL deducts withholding (advance) income tax on landline and broadband bills, and issues a certificate documenting how much was deducted over a tax year so you can adjust it when filing your return. Get it through PTCL's tax certificate lookup using the same phone number and Account ID as your bill, plus your area code and a captcha, choosing the tax year you need. It's also available by messaging "Hi" to PTCL's WhatsApp number, 0331-2181218.

Ways to Pay Your PTCL Bill
PTCL bills can be paid through PTCL's own channels, banks, or mobile wallets, not just at a PTCL office.
UPTCL app
PTCL's own app, on Android and iOS, lets you view and pay your bill, recharge, and manage your account from your phone.
Banks
Over a dozen banks accept PTCL bill payments, including HBL, UBL, MCB, ABL, Faysal Bank, Meezan Bank, Bank Alfalah, and Askari Bank, through their apps, internet banking, or a branch counter.
Mobile wallets
Easypaisa, JazzCash, and UPaisa all accept PTCL bill payments from your phone, using your phone number or Account ID as the reference.
PCPM machines and doorstep
PTCL's own self-service PCPM machines accept cash payment, and TCS Courier offers doorstep bill collection for Islamabad and Rawalpindi customers.
Checking an EVO or CharJi Bill
EVO and CharJi, PTCL's wireless broadband devices, are billed separately from a landline or fibre account and are not covered by the checker above. An EVO bill is looked up using your MDN (the device's number) and its ESN, found on the box, sale order, or on the back of the device itself, through PTCL's separate EVO bill page.
