PESCO coverage

KPK's Primary Distribution Company

PESCO is the backbone electricity distributor for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, serving both urban centres like Peshawar and Mardan and remote rural districts. Given the province's complex terrain, applications in mountainous areas may require additional time for the field survey and service line extension work.

FAQs

PESCO Application Tracking FAQs

How do I track a PESCO new connection application?

Go to enc.com.pk, click Track, select PESCO, and enter your 11-digit Tracking ID or 13-digit CNIC without dashes.

My PESCO application has been stuck for over 15 working days. What should I do?

Call PESCO's helpline at 091-111-786-786 and quote your Tracking ID. For formal escalation, contact NEPRA at 051-9207200 or file a complaint at nepra.org.pk.

Does PESCO cover Abbottabad and Haripur?

No. Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, and Battagram fall under HAZECO (Hazara Electric Supply Company), not PESCO.

What is PESCO's main contact number?

PESCO's main contact numbers are 111-000-128 and 091-9212028. The universal electricity helpline 118 also connects to PESCO.

How long does a PESCO domestic connection take in rural areas?

Urban areas typically take 15–30 days. In mountainous or remote areas, terrain challenges for service line extensions may add to the timeline. Call 118 if you exceed 30 days.

My PESCO documents were rejected. What do I do?

The ENC portal shows the reason for rejection. Upload the corrected or missing documents through the same portal — no need to reapply.
